Apprenticeships

Are you a business owner looking to start an apprenticeship program? So what is an apprenticeship?

According to the Oklahoma Works website, an apprentice is someone employed by a company, who gets paid by the company as they learn a trade or a skill.

Oklahoma Works will assist small business owners in setting up their apprenticeship programs so that they meet employment and training requirements laid out by the U.S. Department of Labor. They assist in creating training structures like, assessing hiring needs, drafting training plans, recruiting, and creating connections to technology institutions where a classroom atmosphere may be beneficial.
