Community Development Financial Institutions

CDFIs (Community Development Financial Institutions) are a viable alternative to traditional bank financing. They assist distressed communities in both urban and rural areas across the country. Grants, traditional banks, the federal government, and/or private resources are used to fund them. CDFIs typically have broader borrowing criteria and higher interest rates than traditional banks. They are an excellent resource for both new and established businesses.
