New program drives support to food truck operators

The Alliance for Economic Development of Oklahoma City has introduced the OKC Food Truck Business Accelerator Program to support and elevate local food truck businesses. This 10-week program aims to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses, refine operations, and scale up, with the potential to receive grants up to $8,000 for long-term growth. Participants will benefit from tailored support, expert guidance, and management training from industry professionals at Synergy Restaurant Consultants. They will also have access to Synergy’s top-tier food service operations training platform, Synergy U.

The program is open to 20 mobile food businesses located in Oklahoma City, operational before March 3, 2021, and either minority-owned or located in a Qualified Census Tract. The program ensures participants receive the support they need to thrive, contributing to economic growth and job creation.

Applications are open until July 14. For more details and to apply, visit theallianceokc.org/arpa-programs.
