Resources and Funding to Help Businesses Growth

Applications are now open for the Real Deal Collective, a 6-month growth program for small business owners launched in 2020. This program supports collaboration and innovation to help businesses with planning, accessing capital, and overcoming obstacles. Thanks to the Alliance for Economic Development of Oklahoma City, local ARPA funds will cover the costs for 35 small business participants and 20 food and beverage business participants. The application deadlines are August 1 for the general program and July 15 for the Food and Beverage program.

Participants will attend monthly sessions on finances, marketing, sales, operations, and leadership, and develop personalized 3-year growth plans. Upon completion, they can receive funding: up to $45,000 for small businesses, depending on their number of full-time employees, and up to $15,000 for food and beverage businesses.

The program boasts successful alumni, such as Naoma Serna-Zahn of Nuevo Studios, who doubled her revenue, and Krystal Yoseph of Konjo Concepts, who hired her first employee immediately after graduation. The Real Deal Collective is organized by the Mettise Group and Inside Track Resources and seeks to support minority business owners, a priority for the Alliance’s ARPA relief efforts.
